S.H.O.P. Programs & Events

SHOP has a variety of programs available to women:

A Place to Go: For all Women Every Tuesday @ 1:30

Come join us every Tuesday at 1:30 for great company, community resource connections, good friends and a delicious home-cooked meal by the wonderful Martha’s.  Street nurses available to attend to your medical questions.

A Place to Grow: For S.H.O.P.  Women ~ Every Wednesday @ 1:30

Come down and join Carmen and Nicole for a coffee, bake some cookies or just relax in our “Rest room”.  This is a great time for some one-on-one.  We can assist you with building a resume, fit you in a new outfit or just talk.  At S.H.O.P. we recognize the innate dignity of every woman.  We seek to build self-esteem through acceptance, friendship and understanding.  We accept who you are, where you are.

A Place to Chill:  For S.H.O.P. Women ~ Every Friday from 2:00-8:00PM

Come and join us at our drop-in every Friday from 2:00-8:00pm.  Come drop in for a cup of java, conversation, laughs, activities, videos and a home cooked meal.  Pickup can be arranged if needed.  Dinner served at 5:00pm, ring the bell for entrance.

Sex Workers Addressing Treatment (SWAT):

Every Friday afternoon at 2:00.  This innovative sex- worker-specific treatment model deals with the many challenges incurred through substance misuse and sex work.  Some of the issues explored are Intimacy, Isolation, Healthy Relationships and learning to Love Oneself.

Narcotics Anonymous (Woman’s Group):

Thursday’s at Noon.  Please ring doorbell for entry.
